MARCH MADNESS

Well its that time of the year again.... time for the NCAA Basketball Tournament.... otherwise known as March Madness.... it started last Thursday and now theres 16 Teams left.... i promise not to mention all 48 games that went on over the last 4 days...

Thursday Unfortunately i had Biology at 1, so i didnt get home till the very end of the first games which was BC barely beating Pacific in Double-OT, so my final four was kept intact, the night games were ok thursday as i was as high as 9th on the OU facebook pool.

Friday i had class at 9:20am which meant my mom couldnt pick me up till 2 so i had to watch the noon games somehow right???? so i went to this guys dorm and we watched the first games and drank beer.... there was pong goin on but i didnt wanna appear drunk to my mom so i only had 2 beers... the game between northwestern state and iowa at the Palace was the best of the day though at the Demons won 64-63. Friday night i wanted to go out to a bar and watch but i ended up watchin here. MSU LOST MSU LOST MSU LOST TO GEORGE MASON HAHA!!!!!! THEY SUCK!!!! then later that night Kansas who i had in my final 8 lost to Bradley, which i learned the hard way there in Peoria, Illinois

Saturday i had to get up at 8:30 am to go to birch run and frankenmuth. it was fun but woulda been better if Janie got to come too ;) but it was just me and my mom and i didnt buy anything except a magnet at the country store in frankenmuth, i decided against buying a Carmelo Anthony shirt at Nike and a $10 Steelers Super Bowl Champs shirt at reebok. then i got home and turned on the games, Duke was beating GW, then Illinois lost to U-Dub who i also had in my elite 8, so 2 of my final 8 were out.... would it get bettor or worse sunday??

Sunday i got up first at 10, and right before i was to go back to bed Janie came online so we talked for a little bit, then i went back to bed till 1:30 almost. I awoke to the NASCAR race being cancelled by rain, and those Bradley Braves beating up on PITT!!!! Then came the worst part of March Madness, when the team you pick as the National Champion goes out, NORTH CAROLINA LOST TO GEORGE FUCKIN MASON!!!!!!!! and now Mason gets to play the next 2 games 20 miles up the road in Washington, DC... so now the tournament takes a well deserved break until thursday night at 7 where there were 4 games on...

The Sweet 16 are: (teams listed from top to bottom of bracket)
in the Atlanta Region: Duke, LSU, West Virginia, and Texas
in the Oakland region: Memphis, Bradley, Gonzaga, and UCLA
in the Washington, DC region: UConn, Washington, George Mason, and Wichita State
and in the Minneapolis Region: Villanova, Boston College, Florida,and Georgetown
